Fine Art FAQs

I have recently aquired 8 "original" oil paintings which are signed, I.Costello, W.Chapman (x2), A.Douglas, Morley, Randel and 2 uncertain signitures.
Initial research suggests that some of these may be by recognised atrists. Could you advise how and where I could research these further.

I have a Ralph Steadman limited edition copperplate print of 'King Lear & His Fool' along with the written text of the work dated 1979, numbered 181/250 and signed in pencil. I would be interested in having it valued for insurance.

I have a signed watercolour by Mary Stevens. Unfortunately I will have to sell it as we are moving to Mexico.

Can you tell me how to go about having it valued and maybe recommend which auction house to approach. I live in Shropshire
I have a photo for you to have a look if that is of any help. Many thanks

How does one go about a valuation of these, in our case for insurance purposes.... and who do we approach for such insurance.

It looks very original. If you could give me an estimated valuation or where i should take the piece it would be a great help. Thankyou
